WolfgangseeSchifffahrt ferries

Ship ahoy on Lake Wolfgang! Wolfgangsee shipping has been around since the time of the emperor – in 1873, the paddle steamer “Kaiser Franz Josef I” “poked” into Lake Wolfgang for the first time, and was praised at the time as a “technical achievement”. The 33m long nostalgic ship has been the star of numerous films and is still part of the fleet. Today, the fleet consists of six motor vessels with the flagship “Salzburg” at the top. The largest ship is the “Österreich”, which holds 365 passengers. The traditional Wolfgangsee fleet of Wolfgangsee Schifffahrt with the venerable paddle steamer “Kaiser Franz Josef” and five other motor ships connects the three Wolfgangsee towns in a romantic way.
